Riders, Sliders & Skidders - 28th October 2017

Saturdays Ride & Skid It Flat track session was a definite challenge, for the photographer and no doubt the riders and instructors! The morning sessions were shrouded in fog or low flying cloud and Storm Brian that hampered last weeks proceedings had nothing on the weather of the afternoon, rain, high winds and fog all got in on the act.
The weather was enough to dampen everyones enthusiasm but give them their due the riders and instructors weathered the weather, whether they liked it or not!

The bikes (Honda 125's) in pristine condition.

The format of the Flat Track sessions appears to be a bit fluid although they have been basically the same. The morning sessions are basically learning to skid around the cones and the afternoon sessions putting the learning into practice.

Even though the weather was so miserable I'm pleased with how the photos came out but I had to pack in early as I couldn't see what or who I was taking photos of, rain on the old glass, plus the mist and rain made it more or less impossible to continue, plus I was soaking wet and pretty cold.

The photos appear in mainly chronological order but unfortunately as much as I'd like to I can't include all riders.
