Riders, Sliders & Skiders - 17th August 2019

Saturdays Ride & Skid It Speedway Experience Day was held on a lovely bright day, which makes a change from the last few sessions. I've got to say I was getting a bid fed up of getting a good drenching as were the Ride & Skid It instructors no doubt.

There were a few patches of surface water on the track at the beginning but as the sun and the wind got a bit stronger, the track dried out quite quickly.

From the group photos there were 17 riders including some novice riders of which two were ladies although I think one lady dropped out after lunch. I'm no expert but I thought everyone gave it a good go, although I think the learning went out of the door on occasions, with some riding on the edge perhaps being an appropriate description!
