Ride & Skid It 06th October 18

Riders, Sliders & Skidders - 29th September 2018


As the weather forecast for Saturdays Ride & Skid It Speedway Experience day was a bit grim, I've got to say I wasn't relishing the thought standing there for 4 hours on a cold, wet, miserable day. It did start out a bit on the dreak side but as the day progressed it got better.

And even on a miserable day the location if you have the opportunity to look around is quite stunning; well thats if you look a bit further than all the stuff thats scattered around the track.

There was the usual mix of novice and experienced riders and as usual everyone had a great time as they negotiated the track. Ive also got to say there was fair amount of competition/rivalry between some of the riders and that certainly makes things more interesting.

One of the novice riders who obviously enjoyed the experience as she smiled her way around the track, she was smiling on every photo I took. A refreshing change!
